Hey, thinking about getting Sky lander for my son (8) as he has social difficulties and his friends have got it. Horrified by price and assertion that much of the game is locked until you buy new characters...how much have you shelled out so far?

Im getting a second hand starter kit from ebay which costs around thirty quid. My freinds daughter has all of them and the giants, they have spent alot of money.
