Can anyone recommend somewhere that would repair a DS?

The charging socket on dd's DS has broken. I'm going to google for somewhere to take it/send it to to be repaired but I was just wondering if anyone can recommend somewhere?

Probably be cheaper to buy a new second hand one, have you tried calling Nintendo to see how much they change?

When ours stopped working, with a different problem, I emailed nintendo.

They were fab and sent me an envelope to post it back to them. It was returned fixed (amd cleaned!) really quickly and with no charge. I couldn't have been happier.
