Where can I buy the huge Greek beans so I can make a lovely gigantes dish?

I live in the West Midlands and all the shops here are Asian/African/Chinese. Nothing local that sells lovely Mediterranean stuff. 😭

Am I going to have to look online? Not even Waitrose has them.

You could try Lima beans or broad beans maybe if you can't find gigantes

I used to get them on Amazon in a tomato ish sauce. They're not to tricky to grow actually. So yummy

You can get them via an online Greek shop such as www.greekmarket.co.uk

I just use dried butter beans as a cheaper everyday alternative.

I am Greek we just use a dried butter beans don’t get the tinned ones
also for the tomato sauce, use fresh tomatoes blended rather than tin tomatoes

Hi. My harvest is about to happen of these, but I can't find any recipes online for fresh. Probably a stupid question, but is soaking still necessary if they aren't dried?
I am looking for recommendations for pate and plaki which can then be frozen. Can anyone help please
