Nut Roast

Does anyone know where I can buy a ready made nut roast for vegetarian guests for Easter Sunday lunch ? All the supermarkets seem to stock them at Christmas but I'm having difficulty sourcing this now.

Or if anyone has the easiest recipe then please share it. Thanks 😊

Lidl has their Deluxe ones in the freezer section with the other Deluxe range for easter.

I really like the Holland and Barrett ones - you just add water and roast.

Hi, I’ve used the Artisan but roasts quite a few times. They are good to have in the cupboard as an emergency.
I often stir in some dried herbs, especially if it’s the Mediterranean recipe.
also I pack half the made up recipe into the loaf “tin” provided, then add a layer of thinly sliced tomato, and/or softened red pepper, then add the rest of the mix so it’s sandwiched between.
I just add five minutes extra to the cooking time.
i sometimes add psyllium husk to the dried mixture before I add the water… it’s a great way of getting more fibre (unnoticed!) in your diet.
