Make-up

I've never really been one for make-up. Just some lip balm!

I've hit a certain age and my skin has gone to pot - rosacea probably caused by peri menopause. People tell me I look young- most likely it's the return of my teenage spots!

Been vegan 23 years.

I'd like some light foundation/ BB cream or powder coverage but what's good and more importantly what's vegan? Something that's not difficult either.

It seems odd for me as a man to offer advice on makeup but I do know that The Body Shop has a range of stuff that is vegan. They do small tester pots as well

Superdrug did a vegan own range. Not sure if still do but worth a look for lower end of budget. My skin and age is same and I find using Nivea Soft as a base under a matt foundation ideal. But...bugger...have while typing this, found nivea is crafty about its animal testing stance. Ie. They dont, but in countries where it is necessary in order to sell it, they use a third party who do.

I think Clarins do this too which is a shame.

I hadn't even considered the Body Shop! I'll stop in there tomorrow when I'm 'in the city', thanks.

Just wondering if you've tried Soolantra for your Rosecea? It cleared mine straight up.
