Be off with your broccoli and cauliflower "steaks" already.
I had to pay £25 for one of these in a restaurant once as that was the only vegan option they had and I was not at all impressed.
It was basically a lump of caulliflower with spices rubbed into it.
Would have been better battered or something.

I mean, they're perfectly tasty, and a vaguely acceptable vegan alternattive on a BBQ, but only if you make them yourself. A cauliflower costs about 80p! I seem to rememeber M&S having to pull their version a couole of years ago after getting lambasted for selling prepared ones for about a tenner!
