Milk alternative that is most like skimmed milk

Anyone know what I can try? I've been trying a few dairy alternatives but they have been too 'creamy' if that makes sense. I'm trying to replace just normal skimmed milk with the red top (fresh) but long life is fine too.

The skimmed Oatly from the fridge section is the closest I’ve come across.

@Sparklingbrook

Thanks all. This is really helpful. I'm glad it's not just me with the 'too creamy' and I wouldn't want nutty tea.

I also want to sneak it past DH and point out he couldn't tell the difference.

Good luck with that! They all taste different from dairy but some are nice, some aren't. Avoid Barista versions and you could water down if needed?

@Palavah I was quite impressed with @seanceinterrupted getting one past the builders. Grin
My ideal would be to find one we both liked and then we wouldn't have to buy two different milks.

I might try one suggestion a week. i didn't know half of these existed so need to do some looking in the supermarket. I really want to swap over. Once I've nailed milk I'll be onto yogurt.

Alpro light but chilled not long life. Getting harder to find but is the only one I can drink straight. Not creamy at all.
