Can anyone recommend any fish substitutes? All kinds e.g. to replace tuna/ fish cakes/ prawns etc?

Avoid Tuno and Good Catch
Linda McCartney’s fish goujons are alright and they’re better than the Quorn battered fillets. However Quorn do the best fishless fingers, which I get quite regularly.

Quorn's fishless fillets are good and so are their fishless fingers. I find them to be on the slightly smaller side though, so if I'm having them in a sandwich or something, I like Aldi's version. However, taste-wise, Quorn's are slightly better.

Had quorn vegan scampi last night which was really good

Tofu marinated then with Nori as 'fish skin' is nice

Quorn fishless fingers are the best dupes for traditional ones. Especially good for kids.

The squeaky bean are more gourmet ones if that makes senses?

V-Bites making’ waves fishless steaks are the best fish burgers and in my opinion the best fish but they’re really underrated.

Sainsbury’s plant pioneers fishless fillets are my absolute favourite supermarket product. It’s actually quite unnerving and they’re a great fish and chips fish.

The quorn scampi are lovely too.

This is also a fantastic tuna melt recipe. We have it all the time.

Tuno is absolutely revolting, and I'm usually not fussy lol
Aldi do some lovely fishless fish fingers.
If you do want a tuna replacement, try making your own, there's some great recipes for tuna chickpea out there.
For chip shop fish in batter to replace cod or haddock, "tofish" is amazing, as in battered tofu.
Or you can use banana blossom as a great fish replacement.
Or to buy. Marks and Spencer's Plant Kitchen Tofish and Chips is delish

This recipe for tofish is amazing

I’ve just watched seaspiracy- so thanks for this thread op. On there they showed ‘prawn’ products that were (I think) tofu based. Any idea where they may be from please?
Do Tesco sell any decent fake fish please?
