Is a standard multivitamin enough B12?

Hi all, I'm switching over to a mostly plant based diet and I just want to make sure I get enough vitamins particularly b12.
I already take a multivitamin that contains b12 and I wanted to know if this is enough or do I need to take extra on top of a multivitamin?
Keen to not spend loads on expensive supplements.
Thanks

I don't know enough about it to say what is definitively enough B12 - can you find an RDA online or is there one on the back of your multivit pot?

Many vegan products are supplemented with B12 anyway - the oat milk I drink is, and the nutritional yeast I use, I think many of the dairy-free spreads are too. Also if you're mostly rather than entirely plant based, presumably you'd still be getting some B12 from whatever animal products you're still eating.
