I've watched What the Health (Netflix), Vegucated (Amazon) and How Not to Die (Amazon). Just wondered if there are any other documentaries you'd recommend? Can't seem to find Forks Over Knives - must have been taken off Netflix and Amazon. I'm particularly interested in UK films if any good ones exist. Thanks!

I thought Food Matters was a great documentary. I watched it on Netflix a few years ago, and now cant find it anywhere. Definitely worth a watch

I know this is an old thread - sorry!
But I watched Dominion today and I live in Aus so it’s unarguably relevant to the food chain I’m in. I was vegetarian for the last 25 years and recently have moved to a vegan diet - was resisting describing myself as vegan... stupid reasons like my partner and I LOVE a pizza delivery maybe 3 times a year and I tried the vegan options and they were awful and would it be so bad to have some mozzarella a couple of times a year?
Well, yes, it would. I cried at least 3 times during this film and even if you don’t think it will change your mind about anything, it just might.
For instance, I have a cat and immediately researched how I can feed him more ethically (I’m going with Open Farms). It will never be perfect but I got him from the RSPCA, not a pet shop or breeder and I love him, and this is the best I can do...
I’ve also been umming and ahhing about the few leather products I have (non vegan Birkenstocks for example) and some wool clothing. I know I’ve already paid for it etc but now i just don’t want it anywhere near me. And if a charity benefits from it , all the better.

Land of hope and glory. It’s on YouTube.

I watched dominion and it shocked me to my core, after watching it I had made my mind up. I was going vegan.

But there wasn’t much footage from UK farms, I believe most of the footage was from Australian farms, so in the back of my head I was thinking farms couldn’t possibly be THAT bad in the UK. I watched land of hope and glory and it completely silenced that voice in the back of my head. I would strongly advise you to watch it.

Thanks for the new recommendations. I could do with a reminder of why I'm still vegan so will have a watch.
