Pregnancy supplements for vegans

Hi all,

I got my BFP last Friday. I had previously been talking vegevit multivitamins and Tesco omega tablets but I've since found out I need to ditch any multi vitamins with vitamin A in.

So I've swapped my vegevit for Pregnacare. Anything else I should be taking that I might be missing out on now?

Hey. Congratulations on your pregnancy! You should be well covered by a standard prenatal supplement. I am also pregnant and have chosen to take an algae based DHA supplement.

Thank you @blackkitty1234, that's reassuring. Which algae based supplements are you taking? I may look into them. Congratulations on your pregnancy! Is this your first?

Thank you. Yes, it’s my first. I’m 29 weeks. How far along are you?
