Yes. Whether they'd be able to or want to is another thing. Quite a goady question though.

ScarMatty · 10/10/2020 14:34

Wouldn't say it's goady at all.

Now you e asked I'm curious!

VinylCafe · 10/10/2020 14:38

Why?

GrandAltogether · 10/10/2020 14:41

I know vegetarians who have. Not sure why vegans wouldn't, assuming they're in the vanishingly small percentage of the population who want to.

Spanglebangle · 10/10/2020 14:53

I asked my vegan friend this when I was pregnant with my first. She said because it would be freely given then morally she would have no issues with eating it but she wouldn't eat if because it's gross!

cariadlet · 10/10/2020 15:29

I'm vegan and could if I wanted (just as I don't drink milk from non-human animals but would have no ethical qualms about drinking my own breastmilk) but why on earth would I want to? It's a gross idea.

Doobiedooo · 10/10/2020 16:30

High in nutrients, apparently... 😱

bunhead34 · 10/10/2020 16:32

I'm vegan, and pregnant 😂
I'd eat it if I wanted to - but I really don't want to!

Scaraffito · 10/10/2020 16:34

Well yes as an animal hasn't been bred and slaughtered to provide it.

DrDavidBanner · 10/10/2020 17:38

Do people still do that? 😨

TrojanWhore · 10/10/2020 17:42

Vegans couid in theory eat anyone's placenta, as long it was freely given for that purpose. For in those circumstances it did not arise from exploitation, nor was it created for consumption.

It's the same general idea that allows swallowing semen.

Or in more solitary mode, biting nails or picking your nose and eating it.

madcatladyforever · 10/10/2020 17:46

Yes of course they can, what a daft question. They made it themselves. As a vegetarian I wouldn't though, I don't like meaty flavours but lets face it if I was starving post apocalypse I'd probably eat you.

katy1213 · 10/10/2020 17:49

It's a quandary, isn't it? Because only a vegan hippy would want to.

LST · 10/10/2020 17:51

They could eat anyone's if it was freely given. I can't see many would want to

Not really a daft question...
pottydimley · 11/10/2020 07:08

Thank you for clearing that up. Not trying to be provocative and I’m sorry if a daft question. Just trying to understand.
