Has anyone bought it? I want one that has recipes for 1-2 people, not more, and wonder if this fits the bill.

I bought it and sent it back as U didn't find it particularly exciting.

Nigel Slater's 'Greenfeast' editions and Rukmini Iyer's 'Green Roasting Tin' are all more aimed at serving 1-2 people. All include some very interesting, innovative recipes too.

I should add, not all the recipes in the books I mentioned are vegan. Although the veggie ones could probably be adapted to suit.

I got it and there are a fair few aimed at serving 2, but it's not hard to work out smaller recipes if you need to half it.

There are lots of recipes I am looking forward to trying, I ended up marking many pages.

I like it but there is a lot of ‘info’ at the beginning that I didn’t feel was needed, good recipes though and easy to find ingredients. most recipes are aimed at 2 people Smile

I love Miguel Barclay's £1 vegan book, every recipe is for one person but its easy to multiply up.

JeezyPeeps · 12/01/2020 09:14

Oh and it's currently £6 in The Works

cricketmum84 · 12/01/2020 13:18

Agree with @JeezyPeeps it's my go-to book at the moment! Really easy, straightforward recipes with ingredients that don't need hunting down to specialist shops unlike a lot of the vegan books out at the moment.

Just got this and gave it to the kids to go through with a pack of post-its to mark things they wanted to try, and for it back with almost every page marked! So a thumbs up from me Grin

My problem with vegan cookbooks I've seen so far is that I'm a bit fussy with my veg so ones I've flicked through at the library only have a handful of recipes I'll probably like. Makes buying one a bit of a waste of money.
