Vegan bowels

I become 'vegan' (not really entirely vegan but mostly vegan) in May so for about 6 months so far. At first I was windy and constipated, from all the pulses i think.. i had too many too soon..
but that has lessened. I still am quite explosive every morning though, almost always have diarrhoea! Does anyone have this and found any solutions? I think mine might be related to the levothyroxine i take for my underactive thyroid so i recently moved it to the evening but not sure this has helped. I think i might need to go and see a dietician but wondering if anyone has any tips in the meantime.

Bumping for you op as I’d quite like solutions too. I’m concerned that too much continual diarrhoea will wash the good bacteria from my bowels and then I’ll have real problems digesting anything! The cramps hurt and are tiring too.

I can't help you as I have very happy bowels! Went vegan overnight (from veggie) three ish years ago and have always been hunky dory. Thought I'd share just to let you know that sad bowels are not a given consequence of veganism!

Making sure you rinse pulses really really well can help, as can drinking lots of water
