Best milk substitute for porridge please?

I'm not vegan but I have a friend coming to stay who is and I'm keen to have plenty in for her to eat. I'm quite interested in making substitutions for is as a family anyway.

I have asked her if there's anything in particular that she would like me to have in and she just said 'any milk that isn't milk' Grin Any recommendations? Particularly for something that will go well with porridge?

I hate almond milk but smushed up banana mixed with oats and almond milk makes AMAZING porridge

My non dairy friend has tried them all and now prefers oat milk with almond milk as second choice.
Porridge can be made with water. Just add banana and some spices, or maybe some brown sugar (but not honey - it's not vegan!)

I think oat milk is the best one for porridge. I still haven’t found out I really like in tea because I can’t stand tea with any sugar at all, and they all taste a little sweet to me. But oat milk or coconut milk are good in coffee.

Hey guys,

I’m currently writing my masters dissertation. In this regard im Doing an online survey regarding consumer behaviour towards plant- based meat and diary replacements in the UK. It only takes 3 minutes and is completely anonymous. Would really appreciate if some of you would take part.
