What do you make with Oumph?

Have just found out about Oumph and have the chunk, pulled and kebab spiced varieties available from Tesco. Have a few ideas from my vegan mag but wondered what else I could do with it?

The pulled one is delicious in brioche burger buns, coleslaw made with vegan mayonnaise and sweet potato fries.

It also goes well as a sweet potato topping with this avocado salsa www.mindfulchef.com/recipe/vegan/pulled-barbecue-jackfruit-and-avocado-salsa-vegan-jackfruit
If I’m low-carbing, I’ll put it in this salad recipes.sainsburys.co.uk/recipes/main-courses/slow-cooked-pulled-pork-with-black-beans

What is it?

PartTimeDomesticGoddess · 26/05/2019 13:21

It's a soy protein. I hadn't heard of it before either

I use it as a topping on pizza

I do fajitas with the strips - peppers, mushrooms, onions and cashew sour cream in wraps.

Thai green curry. Yum yum!

DS likes it plain, fried, as a snack.
