Vitamin Recommendations?

Hi everyone,

Ive been vegan for a couple of years now and have always taken a basic multivitamin (prenatal during my pregnancy, I'm now 5 months post partum).

Just interested to see what vitamins you all take and recommend along with a balanced diet?

Thanks

Vitamin B12 - daily
Iodine once or twice a week if I don't have seaweeds
Occasionally Iron maybe once a week

I eat plant based so I think most vitamins and minerals are covered by diet. Those eating fifty-shades-of-beige might need to supplement more.

VEG1 from the vegan society; it is socially formulated for vegans, has the b vitamins, selenium, iodine etc in it and is cost effective too. The black currant one is nicest I think.

Duh specially not socially!

Veg1 from Vegan society here too, plus Omega capsules and I eat nutritional yeast from the spoon, 3 teaspoons a day gives the daily recommended B12

I'm sure I've read that the B12 in yeast extract, marmite etc. isn't the right type for our bodies and that the only way to get B12 on a vegan diet is through taking supplements or eating foods that have added B12 (cereals etc). Is this true? My DC and I are vegetarian, not vegan, but I've found out that I'm B12 deficient (probably not diet related) and just want to make sure my DC are getting enough.
Thank you :)

the b12 in marmite and nutritional yeast is perfect
