Has anyone ordered tempeh online? I can't get it locally. Don't really want the stuff in jars either, but as the normal is refrigerated not sure how this would work.

Really surprised I can't get it locally. Health store will only sell bacon flavoured, Asian wholesaler has a zillion tofus but no tempeh.

Have you checked the freezer in your local wholefood store? It only keeps for a week or two fresh but ages in the freezer...our Oriental Grocery (that's its name) has it tucked away frozen but you have to hunt for it.

Wholefood store definitely only has bacon flavoured, as that's what sells 🙄 Hadn't thought to look in the freezer at the wholesalers, they don't have much frozen, so it's unlikely, but worth a try...

No idea, I buy it from the freezer section but have to drive a fair bit to be able to buy it

In the whole stores near me there’s always the tempeh with the green and white label in the two zip lock bags, lurking in the freezer.

I wish I could get fresh!
