Pregnancy cravings please help!

I'm 16 weeks and obsessed with the idea of a cheese and onion pasty. I've been vegan for nearly 4 years and dairy free for nearly 8 years so no idea where this has come from. It's to the point where I have to walk a different way round the city to avoid Greggs at lunch time.

Anyone got an amazing recipe for cheese onion pie/pasty that tastes like a Greggs?

Help!

Just wanted to express solidarity with all those with pregnancy craving-related dilemmas! I can't help with the cheese & onion pasty situation but I did make a nice vegan macaroni cheese today using Free & Easy cheese flavour sauce mix. I am 11+3. Was vegan for 2.5 years...until last week! With the cravings/fussiness/aversion to cooking smells, I've found that I've resented the extra faff involved in veganism. Before being pregnant, I loved spending time making great-tasting healthy vegan food for myself, but it's not really an option at the moment. So I gave in and had a fish finger sandwich! Which repeated on me through the night, as I knew it would. Since then, I've tried small amounts of non-vegan food (e.g. off DP's plate when out for dinner) to try to break the taboos I've built up around dairy etc. Not sure how far I'll go with it; I can't see myself regularly incorporating dairy/fish as it does still seem a bit gross to me. I 100% believe that veganism is the best, healthiest diet including for pregnant women, but at the same time, I want to just be able to eat whatever I feel like from the range of foods available at the time and not make things difficult for myself. My veganism has never really been about animal rights, more about what feels healthy and right, so I don't have much incentive to stick with it if/when I don't feel like it. Part-timer eh?! I guess I'm destined to become one of those "mostly vegan" types, hated by vegans and non-vegans alike! I feel like the cravings are not caused by deficiencies, but more to do with our bodies yearning ever more diversity, making us want whatever it is we haven't eaten for years. My weirdest craving has been red wine! I hadn't had an alcoholic drink for over a year before becoming pregnant! (I didn't give in to that one.) Thanks for the tips re. meat/dairy substitutes but I seem to have gone off many of my faves including Violife cheese slices, unfortunately.
