Holiday with vegans

Anyone any ideas please? I want to book a summer beach holiday for my family. Self catering so I can cook for my vegan daughter and with three rooms and wifi so that my teenagers have bit of space. Needs to be reasonably priced. Any ideas of where is vegan friendly or where I'll ar least be able to access vegan groceries? Bit specific this one, I know.

What do you mean ‘vegan groceries’? Surely that’s just veg?

So any largish, self catering digs in sunny beach place with access to shops?

Mallorca very vegan friendly. I tend to go to Happy Cow and pick somewhere within reach of a town with a health food shop and even better some veg cafes or an ice cream bar etc. I think Italy will be our choice this year.

Though I can't say we've ever had an issue anywhere, there's always something you can eat especially if self catering.

Veg, fruit, beans, nuts, bread... these are available everywhere? If you mean fake meat and dairy stuff, you’ll struggle most places beachy tbh.

So, anywhere with a supermarket then? If there's a really niche ingredient you have to have, just take it with you?

Agree with PPs. As long as you're in a large-ish resort/town or have a car you'll have access to supermarkets with everything you need.

Thanks for that guys. I thought I might have had problems even getting the basics like soya milk and spread and definite vegan bread, but sounds like you can get that stuff anywhere. Would like to eat out couple of times as well but thought perhaps we'd struggle in mediterranean resorts. Went to Berlin last year and easy peasy. Thanx Anarchist, will try the Happy Cow idea and look at Mallorca.
