I got a nutribullet for Christmas as an upgrade from my old blender so have got into making smoothies for breakfast. I’ve been using the frozen smoothie mixes from Tesco with hemp milk and a banana with a bit of spinach. They are lovely but I’m sure you lovely lot have some fab smoothie ideas for when I want a change.

My favourite ;

1 banana
3 dates
Spoon of nut butter (I have cashew)
Tablespoon of chia seeds
Tablespoon of flax seeds
Then almond milk.

It’s lovely and sweet and fills me until lunch time.

I make smoothies with fresh seasonal fruit (I make enough for 2 days and keep in the fridge because I use a handheld blender)

2 pears chopped
4 or 5 prunes (without the pips) chopped
I whole lemon, juiced and chopped

4 tablespoons of ground almonds
4 tablespoons of linseeds Plus prune juice and warm filtered water ( I like mine to room temp. in the winter!)

Just bung it in! The lemon skin and pith is full of Vitamin C (I never have bleeding gums or sensitive teeth now!)

Big handful of spinach and kale
A frozen banana
Spoonful of nut butter
Water

I also add a couple of chunks of frozen mango or pineapple if I have it
