Eggs?

I haven't eaten dairy for years, was a vegetarian until pregnant and craved meat but now want to drop the meat as it never feels right to eat it. However, I love eggs. I don't buy them from shops as my uncle keeps chickens and we eat their eggs.
His chickens live a good, happy, free range life until old age.
What alternatives to eggs can you use? Are they as good as real eggs i.e. Can you use them as an alternative to omelettes etc?
I'm not sure I could give up on my eggs, I eat them every day!

If the eggs are from hspoy chickens them is continue eating them. No suffering involved so don't see an issue!

I'm inclined to agree - the chickens are going to lay their eggs regardless. Provides they are kept with plenty of space and comfort, with no suffering, then eating those eggs within your home shouldn't be morally problematic (unless you disagree with keeping animals full stop) Smile
