I'm due to have DC in 8 weeks and was wondering what all your fave products are!
I do most of my toiletry shopping at Superdrug anyway, so are they good for baby wash / shampoos etc too?
Any other recommendations?
Thanks :)

Hi MissBax I like greenpeople products. Not available in Superdrug but they often have really great offers and free things to try

Hipp Organic make a baby oil (sunflower and almond blend) that is approved by the vegan society. It's soft and light.
Can't buy in UK shops yet but can on Amazon and Hipp have an online shop too. They have a whole range of toiletries for babies worth checking if they're vegan too.

Oooh fab, thanks so much.
I love online shopping - will have a good search of products now :)

When babies are tiny you don't actually need to use any sort of bubble bath or shampoo, plain water is enough. My DS couldn't even handle water wipes when he was tiny.

A'kin stuff is good the body moisturiser has been a godsend as my dd has eczema.

Although the shampoo didn't suit her hair it's gentle enough to use on a baby and there was nothing wrong with it at all. The bidybwash is great also

Thanks Elf - I've got water wipes, but prepared to use cotton wool and water too :)

I'm not vegan but use grapeseed oil for baby massage. Is this ok for you? I also love Earth Friendly Baby Products - but agree with pp that you dont need anything for a long time - I washed my baby's hair for the first time a couple of weeks ago & she's 6 months old (I had rinsed it with water lots!)!

lilyrose - thank you :) it's those little things I just don't know anything about - when to start using products etc - and it worries me that I know so little Confused

Your instincts will kick in MissBax & you'll know. I only use the odd product (rarely) now - Weleda Calendula nappy cream and Earth Friendly Baby shampoo - as she gets dirtier now she's eating & moving about. Pre 5/6 months she was just so clean and perfect, she didn't need it.

The grapeseed oil is amazing, it just sinks into her skin.
