Going to Perronporth on Friday with DH, DS (5) and DD (7months) and wondered if any of you have any good days out. Got St,Michaels
Mount, LandsEnd and St.Ives on the list so far. Thanks in advance!

Mousehole is lovely - recommend you read The Mousehole Cat and watch dvd story - and it will all mean something!! But it is only a ;little place, but not far from lands end and very sweet when you know the story!

Eden Project. Looe. Thought Falmouth was a bit dull. Tortoise sanctuary at Lower Sticker near St Austell was fab and only £3 for adults. There's a steam railway somewhere near St Austell too which got great reviews from other staying at Bosinver with kids, but I'm not sure where it is, maybe someone else could help. There's also a lovely big park in the centre of Bodmin if you want to stop for a bit enroute - lots of climbing stuff and slides to burn off some 5 yr old energy!

Lands End is not worth the trip! At the very least avoid the commercial complex and just do the walk from the bottom rt of the car park to 'see' the cliffs at Lands End. Better still Go to Minack Theatre and Porthcurno beach instead for a real treat.

Ah I like to have my pic done at Lands End and the view is lovely. the little farm is sweet though? I reckon it's worth the trip to say you've been to lands end though?!! We're going to go again so i can get a pic with DS on it as last time we went he was in my tummy

Paradise Park in Hayle is good, lots of birds and a small farm section. Hollywell beach is lovely, have a good time.
