Can anyone recommend a hotel in Rye?

We're looking for a family-friendly hotel in (or near) Rye in East Sussex for a long weekend. Preferably one that does family rooms, for dh and me, our 5-y-o ds and 3-y-o dd.

Does anyone know anything like this?

www.queensheadrye.co.uk/

this is a nice one but the website is a bit shite...you might have to email them to enquire about family rooms

The George if you want trendy, cool, in the town centre. Beautiful decor and food.

Jeakes House is fab b and b and amazing value but not keen on children.

Outside town along Camber Sands, The Place is very family friendly. Right over the road from beautiful beach and has good food. Downside: with the kids you all have to share one big room, they don't have inerconnecting rooms.

Don't go to the Mermaid, it's in a need of a shake up and very overpriced imho.

Thanks for your recommendations - I will have a look at the websites.
