We've just returned from a fantastic week in Devon. The glorious weather helped of course but I just wanted to recommend the place we stayed in for anyone looking for similar.
The cottage was lovely and really well equipped. The facilities were brilliant (indoor pool, children's play area, farm animals etc.), the location was perfect (about 15 mins to some lovely beaches, a great child friendly pub within walking distance, beautiful rural countryside but not far to supermarkets etc.) and the owners were really helpful and lovely.
It wasn't the cheapest place but they do have special offers for last minute availability and even though we booked ages ago and paid full price, I would still say it was worth every penny.
I've stayed at a few of these type of places and it was by far the nicest.
