Can you find me the perfect holiday cottage in North Wales?

We're getting married at the end of October and would like to honeymoon in North Wales. Ideally somewhere self-catered, pet-friendly, slightly out of the way but stumbling distance from a pub. Not too far from the coast but within reasonable driving distance of Snowdonia.

As CADW members we'd like to wander around a few of the castles up North and I'm a foodie so I'd really love a decent kitchen (which means DH-to-be would appreciate a dishwasher - he does all the washing up at home) and some gastro places nearby.

Oh, and we'd really love a real fireplace or a wood-burning fire!

Can anyone recommend something that would fit my bridezilla-style list?

www.balacottages.com/

Doesn't meet all your criteria but we loved it

Nefyn Holidays. Just had all that. Old Weavers Cottage. Fantastic.

Thanks both! Can I ask if there's anything in the area that you'd count as a must-see must-do?

Betws-y-coed is beautiful but not sure what there is to do if the weather is bad. We went to the slate mines at Blaenau Ffestiniog (but not really a honeymoon activity!). Portmerion is very pretty. The hot tub at Bala Cottages ia a must do! Completely private and they provide champagne flutes. We went in it in the rain (propped up a golf umbrella!!).

Have a great time!
