London Weekend Break

Hi all

Myself DH and DD's (5 and 10 months) are going to London next weekend for 4 days.
We have been before just the 2 of us but would like some ideas of places we could bring the DD's to.
We are planning to get the train to windsor on friday for Legoland but apart from that we have noting else planned.

Any recomendations about where to go, what to do. I dont want to be spending huge amounts of money but will need places suitable for baby as well.

TIA

If it's sunny head up to regent's park with a picnic (there's a tesco very close on Baker Street) - duck pond & playground for the older DD and a generally lovely place to just wonder around if it's sunny although if you want something more touristy you're right by Madame Toussords (sp) & Planetarium.

Thank you.
The picnic sounds ideal, hopefully the weather stays warm.

Take a stroll along the South Bank. You can get the tube or bus to Waterloo, take in the Eye, RFH, BFI, National Theatre, Tate Modern and the Globe before walking over the wobbly bridge to St Paul's. Your children may be too young to enjoy going inside these places but the views are iconic and you will get some great photos. There is usually some sort of street theatre going on and plenty of activity on the river.
