Apologies - this is on chat too (and it was suggested I put it here), and I am not sure whether to put it in weekend breaks (what do you think? )so there might be some confusing posting. Sorry

We have two nights without children in August (a Friday and Saturday). I have about 500 pounds hidden away. I want to have a really lovely really romantic weekend away. Fancy Norfolk. Need to be near sea and do not need to be near shops! Any ideas please....have been searching online and have found some luxury hotels. Think husband would like pool/gym etc. Definitely needs to be some good walking without getting a car out. Someone must be able to help. This is first time alone in about 16 years - have been married for 24....want something special.

We have just returned from an amazing experience of a holiday in Wales! We stayed at a cottage near Welshpool called 'Burgundy' and booked through www.bestofwales.co.uk. It was a bargain for the price, and we even had money left over to book a personal chef for one evening which was amazing! I also got to book a masseur to the cottage which was such a luxury and there's even a jaccuzi bath overlooking an amazing view in the bedroom! We had some lovely walks, one trip to Aberdyfi where there's a stunning beach and only a short drive away. If this doesnt appeal to you there are some other beautiful cottages on the website as well. Definately a romantic get away at Burgundy though at a great price! Hope this helps and enjoy your weekend
