Best music festival to take kids to other than Bestival?

Glastonbury sold out, obviously, and dh on f*ing stag weekend during Camp Bestival (30th/31st July, 1st Aug), so can anyone recommend an alternative on another weekend?

You need to come over to the camping threads bluemouse, lots of chat re festivals there.

There may be some glasto tickets released over the next couple of weeks (the returns from people who haven't paid up before the deadline) so keep an eye open...

Try Green Man in Wales - a bit smaller but supposed to be v family friendly. We've not been but thinking of trying it this year.
