Holiday Inn Chester south

What is the hotel like has anybody stayed there? I have booked for me and BF to stay there as a surprise bday pressie. I payed 130 pounds for a DBB deal.

What are you hoping for? Being honest it's on a mjor road junction and there will be traffic noise. It's a 10 min car or bus journey into central Chester but park and ride nearby. It has a nice pool and gym I believe though not personally seen it. The restaurant has no reputation I am aware of. It's a very business like bit dated 3 star hotel really. I'm sorry, I would have liked to tell you something more positive.

I live in Chester and used to work at the hotel many many years ago. I think of it's a special occasion you might have a better time at the Grosvenor Hotel in Pulford which is bit further from Chester but much better standard of rooms and food and Aldo has spa and pool.
