They don't do codes at CP any more, apart from the come back code which you can use within a month or so of your last holiday to book next years break. And that doesn't give you a discount, just guarantees the cheapest price.

OK, is CP good? i am always a bit sick in my mouth at the thought of it, imagine it as a green Butlins

Phoenix4725 · 10/01/2010 08:22

We went in november for midweak break 259 for family of 5 in comfort plus.for me having dishwasher was a treat.highlights each morning was the ducks and deer outside the windows,

Yes we found it really good after doing years of butlins/haven

was something to do for all my dc and have ds16,ds12, dd6 and ds4 .boys did 2 activtys each in week and spent a large amount of time in the pool`.me and dd,ds3 spent time in the park/indoor play bit though this is very small and would reccomend doing early. Not evening entertainment as such but by time we finshd swimming at 7 who needed it

we did not spend huge amount of money, shop is good size but not cheap as no discount brands but did have some good deals

We liked it but can see why people don't. I wanted somewhere set up for children - no cars on main site, activities and restaurants all expect children and you don't feel yours are annoying anyone. Nice to see wildlife around little cabin and the children loved it. DS has talked about it ever since we went last time.

It can be expensive but it doesn' have to be.

I was with you on this one, thought it would be the seventh circle of hell then went to Elveden Forest in Suffolk in Sept 2008 and had a fantastic time.

I still feel a little bit ashamed admitting that I went to Center Parcs and enjoyed it but I'm actually quite excited about going again.

Lovely spa, great family/bordering on gastro pub, brilliant swimming facilities, actual restaurants rather than just McDonalds and Harry Ramsdens (which is what I was expecting tbh).

As for the accommodation, the comfort villas looked quite depressing but we were in a woodland lodge which was beautifully designed, had super-comfy beds and all mod cons. Marvellous.
