I am sorting out 2010 holidays - mainly as a way of avoiding organising Christmas

Christmas can wait until next week - right now I need to think about Easter Hols. I have been looking at Northumberland and can't decide between Seahouses and Bamburgh. It is years and years since I have been up that area so have no real recollection of the places. We like to be near a pub to eat in some night -pref walking distance so we can have glass wine or two but like to be near a beach. Any suggestions. Anybody got good cottage/house to recommend that have stayed in?

thanks.

Bamburgh much nicer. Seahouses not v lovely resort, Bamburgh has teashops & castle & great huge beach.

Bamburgh much nicer than Seahouses imo. Seahouses has lots of chippies, a harbour, more shops and seems busier.
Bamburgh has the castle, an excellent butchers and a few other shops several pubs/restaurants and is very attractive.

Seahouses sounds like it should be lovely. But It Is Not.
