Nice restaurant centre Liverpool, plus a spa in Merseyside where I can take my mum for her birthday?

60 Hope St or London Carriageworks (both on Hope St), at the edge of city centre (so about 15-20 minutes walk from Lime St), or Heathcotes (at Beetham Plaza) which is nearly the Albert Dock (20-25 minutes walk from centre). No idea about spas though...

formby hall is supposed to be good.
As for restaurants there are now loads so it depends what you are after- although The Tavern always gets my vote.
