London hotel/ selfcatering.

Looking for ideas of good places to stay. Me plus two kids. would like a small apartment type thing as kids are a bit older but it would be nice for them to go of to sleep and I can watch TV.

maybe far too expensive in London. A hotel would do really.

Doesn't have to be too central just near a tube station would be ideal so we can get around.

Any recommendations or ideas much appreciated.

And finally, budget?

Oct for 5 nights.

Budget? Well I don't really know. Flights are about £160. so maybe about £300- £400. Would love to spend half that and have more for doing stuff and eating.

Not looking for luxury, we are out all day and just need somewhere clean and quiet to sleep, so not late night discos down stairs.
