North Cornwall beach horrors

I've booked a family holiday in Polzeath very close to the beach and have just seen national headlines about rowdy beach parties, drunken teenagers, wild behaviour etc. Have I made a grave mistake thinking I could take children there?

Polzeath is really nice beach, very pretty and very big too so loads of space. I think the news was more about Newquay itself? I may be wrong....Newquay does attract a lot of groups of teenagers though and is a lot more built up so I would have thought you'd be ok in Polzeath. I am sure someone else will come along in a minute!

Don't panic, I think most of that is confined to Newquay.
