Cheap ferry tickets

Any tricks?
I've just got a quote for £125 from portsmouth to fishbourne for 3 of us, with a car.
i'm going to do some internet searches, but i thought i'd tap into mnet wisdom!

TRy Red Funnel, Southampton to East Cowes, normally cheaper and well worth the trip down the road. Also If you can travel early in the morning or in the evening you can get it far cheaper. Put in different times and see what happens. Sorry rushing now, hope this helps.
