Glasgow hotel

I need a hotel in or around Glasgow for a Sunday night before a flight to Dubai. It needs to be child friendly and have somewhere reasonable to eat for dinner. A decent room size and not too far from Glasgow Airport. Preferably not travelinn and the likes please but something where we can spend a bit of time mooching about as we don't need to be at the airport until noon.

City Inn, by the river for mooching but the rooms aren't that big.

Malmaison, Jurys Inn, Millenium Inn George Square - all city centre but shouldnt be more than £10-£15 in taxi to the airport.

Campernile is near SECC, which means you could walk over the bridge and visit the science centre?
