No!

We took DS a few years ago and stayed in the travel lodge because I was frightened we would end up in some grotty B&B.

I wouldn't call it nice exactly but we stayed in Pontins (half board.) The price was reasonable, the accommodation family friendly and the "entertainment" is (thankfully) entirely optional.

I think one needs to be cautious to avoid staying in the type of B&B that might more usually cater for hen/stag parties.

If you really must go to Blackpool then this is a nice hotel - right next to the Pleasure Beach

Nooooooooooooo - Blackpool is hideous. Really, it is very, very unpleasant. And if you remember it from your childhood as being 'fun' it really isn't now.

I had to go there on a conference a coup,e of years ago. It was baaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

AnyFucker · 15/06/2009 21:33

fgs, don't go to Morecambe either

fificasey1 · 17/06/2009 10:43
