Have you tried Helpful Holidays?

They have some great properties and were indeed very helpful - we stayed in a lovely farmhouse in Devon last year and they have a lot of child-friendly places which is nice.

Thanks treacle - will have a look.

Just been here and loved it Went with an 18 month old who loved the animals - we were close enough to Padstow, Port Issac, Eden Project, Tintagel and the little one loved it.

Thanks Twims. It does look lovely. I have to really have to stop faffing around and book something!

jb - have just had a look at your website. It looks lovely - both the property and the website. However, it took forever to load the pages - especially the page with the map. I do like the way it's laid out but it's a much bigger place than we are looking for.

Interesting that you found it slow. Has anyone else found it slow? www.devonholidayhouses.co.uk

You can rent Kirsty Allsorts' cottage in Devon through helpful holidays I think. According to the local paper, it's 2 grand a week though.
Farm-Cottage holidays seem to mop up a lot round here (North Devon). Or try the little ones like Appledore Letting (can't do links, you'll have to google!)
Just realised I have posted referring to KA three times in the last two days. Think I may have a problem

extremelychocolateymilkroll · 26/04/2009 11:22

Thanks Tippy. £2k possibly a little outside our budget...

Appledore is lovely, try Ersha Street
