Bristol Hippodrome - good place nearby to take kids for lunch?

Can anyone recommend somewhere for lunch which suitable for young children as close to the Hippodrome as possible?

Never been there before so have no idea whats nearby.

If you walk to Millennium Square, not far at all, there is a Pizza Express. You could also walk up Park Street to the Museum as there is a child friendly cafe there. There is a Pizza Hut almost next door but I hate PH!

There is a Las Iguanas which does cheap pre-theatre and lunch time menus and is child-friendly: their children's meals are v good value although service can be a bit slow.

I think children are allowe in The Green Room, which is right opposite the theatre.

Lots of Chinese and buffet type places around there too. Malaysian Delight is quite nice.
