Cornwall boutique hotel recommendations

It's our 5th wedding anniversary and my inlaws have kindly offered to look after our kids for a mid week break (3 nights). They live in Cornwall and I'm looking for a nice hotel to stay in around Cornwall/Devon. Something a bit special - budget up to £350/night. Can anyone recommend a hotel? We got married at Combe House (amazing place) and I'd like to find somewhere similar. Cheers for any replies!

hi, try the Tresanton in St Mawes. Lovely, we stayed there when we got married in Truro.

Watergate Bay hotel - the new rooms with sea views and including one from a bath tub!

cheers for these. Haven't heard of Watergate Bay - I will check it out.

Driftwood is lovely, middle of nowhere, so you can't wander round any shops, harbours etc. But you can walk down to their own little beach.

The Lugger is child free if you want to totally escape children!

Tresanton would be spot on for a Cornish by the sea hotel. You can wander round St Mawes, see the sea from the hotel, take a boat trip.

Or going on your Combe House love, then try Hotel Endsleigh, 5 mins from Tavistock. Country house hotel, 3 rosettes for food!

I've stayed at the Old Quay House in Fowey. Twas lovely

Gidleigh Park in Devon is lovely too

Fowey Hall is a luxury family hotel - don't go there as a big part of what you're paying for in the room rate is all the childrens facilities. That area is gorgeous though.
