Can anyone recommend a spa day?

Its my 40th in May, and am hoping to have a lovley and relaxing day with my husband (children being looked after for the day!!)

Thinking of a spa day, but unsure where to go. I love the Sanctuary in Covent Garden but ladies only!!

Does anyone have any recommendations in London or South East (we live in Herts so about an hours drive would be fine)

Thanks in advance.

Pennyhill Park in Surrey.(Bagshot)
they have mens areas and womens plus a combined area. The outdoors spas/pools etc are nice too. the resteraunt is a little cafe- ish but the food is nice. I love the heated marble beds and the pool which has music underwater.

Nirvana Spa in Wokingham, nr Reading is wonderful if you like water. Loads of pools with water jets and a 'celestial pool' - a bit like the Dead Sea. Only wish I lived nearer to it.

Ragdale Hall, nr Melton Mowbray, if that isn't too far for you.
