Looking for either a) genuinely baby/child friendly hotel
or b: faceless chain hotel who don't mind 2 boys running between Manchester airport and Anglesey. Any thoughts?

We stayed in the forrest hills in Fordsham a few weeks ago. Not sure if this is exaclty th right area (were breaking up journey from London) Anyway, reasonably priced, good leisure centre, suprisingly good food. Rooms basic an decor a bit naff, but clean and functional. And they had no problem with dds running amok. Also do interconnecting rooms which we used...

Have you looked at the De Vere hotels? We stayed at one near Chester before Christmas. I think it was called St David's Park Hotel. I don't know if it fits the bill for child friendliness though. Mine are 14 and 15 so it's not something I notice anymore. There were children there at the same time and afair everyone looked happy.

I'll look 'em up - thanks.
