ogwen bank

has anybody been to Ogwen Bank Country Park in Wales with Hoseasons? if so is it nice?

We went but it would have been about 7yrs ago, stayed in a rental caravan that was 'tired' but it was their cheapest accom so I guess you get what you pay for!

Drove past recently and saw some very nice log cabins which were not there when we stayed.

I remember a little bar on site where we ate, we didn't expect the food to be up to much but it was very good. There was also a good takeaway in the village, Bethesda.

The river Ogwen flows right next to the park, we saw dippers on it, even though it was the middle of July and full of kids splashing about.

Very pretty site with serious mountains just around the corner. The view as you turn right out of the entrance and drive a mile or so is stunning.

I would go back.
