Can anyone recommend a hotel/bb in Cambridge for 2 adults during half term (not too expensive).

This hotel is probably the most reasonable centrally located hotel. Hotels in Cambridge are notoriously expensive though you may be able to get a few good deals at the moment. Most of the b&bs tend to be in the less interesting parts of town - e.g. round the ring road. I would look through the Tripadvisor reviews and decide whether you want to stay in central Cambridge or are prepared to stay somewhere out of town and drive in (NB car parking is very expensive and P&R services stop around 8pm).

We stayed at Cambridge Garden House Hotel last year, was lovely and not too expensive.
