Any suggestions

Hi

My mother, myself and my 26 month old son were planning on having a quick 3 day break on the essex coast next week without the men in the family, but due to the bad weather we were thinking of centre parcs or something lie that. Unfortuantely they only do mon to fri or weekend breaks and we want mid week.

Does anyone have any recommendations of something like centre parcs that isn't too many hours from london and wont be spoilt by the rubbish weather

Butlins at Skegness? would take about 3 hours.Is that too far?

Next week is meant to be fine here in sunny old essex. Least in this part of essex it is... Have heard lots of moans about the weather but it's only rained here since sunday and today has only had a couple of showers to be honest. It's looking bright and is very warm right now. Why not go for your original plan?
