Cheap short break in Cornwall

We were going camping in Cornwall day after BH in August, tues to sat. however, due to the mad May BH weather, our tent is now broken

Can't afford a new one at the moment so am desperately looking somewhere for 2 adults, 2 kids to stay end of August for 3/4 nights. Preferably self catering so we haven't got to fork out for meals out etc.

Preferably needs to be under £150 (probably no chance!).

Anyone got any bright ideas please?

I know this sounds a bit odd but Havan holiday places do some good last minute deals all over the country.

You don't have to use all the facilities ( but swim pool is good) and we used them as a base. - Got four nights in heated luxury mobile home for £110 last year!! Look up the late deals on the website - but you would have to wait till the week before and ringing them you might get an even better offer!
