overland.

I'm wanting a direct route but we're travelling from Yorkshire so we would have to change.

Could we walk from Kings Cross to the hotel or is it too far?

brilliant.

well thats a start. So long as we're at the right side and we can negotiate taxis or underground when we're there.

It'll take longer than 20 mins to walk from KX to blackfriars/Chancery lane. You could get a train from St pancras (opposite KX) to Blackfriars and walk it, or you could tube it, would have to change, though. Or get a cab from Blackfriars, cabs outside the station (used to work there).

Actually just had a look at where it is, you could get off at City Thameslink (train from St Pancras), it's not far from there.

you can get a 63 bus from KX to farringdon rd, which is about a five-min walk from chancery lane. I think I'd probably just get in a cab though - should be about £6, and once you've paid for two bus tickets, the difference is pretty small ..

SWC, Euston is the opposite direction.

Actually, its quite a walk from Chancery Lane station - however, Hoborn is really close tube station - just hope on the Picadilly line from Kings Cross to Holborn, then is just 5 minutes walk from Holborn tube (if that!). If you're going to be coming with not much luggage, that's the best way to go. Also - get an Oyster card (swipe travel card) as is sooooooooooo much cheaper on the tube/buses using one of those than buying tickets all the time.

Is longer than a 5 minute walk from Farringdon Road to Chancery Court - more like 15 minutes (I work around there).

Thanks for all that.
I will probably avoid the tube like the plague cos I'm a bit scaredy cat.

Taxi for £6 sounds good to me
