Looking for really nice accommodation in Devon for next July for our summer holiday, its for 6 adults and a one year old. Basically its me and dh, our 3 adult sons, dil and my little granddaughter who will be about 18 months then. Will do self catering if necessary but would at least prefer option of on site eating. Either hotel or seperate individual accommodations, preferably a heated swimming pool on site. I know anything really nice will be £££ but we would spend that going abroad, and it will be too hot for toddler to be abroad then.
Any suggestions?

Not sure if this is the sort of thing you are after, we stayed at this site in the summer and it is beautiful. We stayed in a caravan but they have this one private cottage with hot tub. The site is lovely, pool, private beach, nice restaurant. It wasn’t too busy either in the summer hols.

If you would consider Dorset then Silverlake would fit the bill well. Luxury holiday homes with a large heated pool, restaurant and spa onsite.

Does it have to be Devon as Bedruthen Steps in Cornwall would fit the bill - you can choose between hotel rooms and serviced apartment (and can have half board in both). I think you also get a couple of hours of free childcare a day on top.

Thurlestone Hotel. They also have self catering accommodation on site.

Hotel is amazing ….indoor pool (and spa), outdoor pool with bar, 9 hole golf course gym, food is just fabulous….plus they have an onsite pub too.
Right on the coast, between Burgh Island and Hope Cove

Staunton Sands Hotel - they have apartments as well. Lovely place!

We stayed in Hope Cove. Nicknamed it Hopeless Cove it was beyond grim.

If you want a bit of something going on the we’ve enjoyed Clawford Lakes - they have some lovely accommodation as well as a spa, indoor pool, and free activities such as paddle boarding and kayaking on site
